ABA Therapy
Welcome to a new era of ABA Therapy
ABA is an evidence-based therapeutic model that engages the science of learning and behavior to help children increase the frequency of beneficial behaviors and decrease the frequency of harmful or self-limiting ones. In other words, ABA targets maladaptive behaviors to help children practice more desirable social behaviors, learning strategies, and communication skills. Therapists carefully track behavioral data trends to help both the child and caregivers better understand the factors that prompt a particular behavior, the child’s response, and the most effective consequences to help the child adapt. ABA relies heavily on using positive reinforcement to motivate a child toward beneficial behavioral change.
